Air Warfare Applications of Laser Remote Sensing (Draft of RAAF
نویسنده
چکیده
Infrared Laser Remote Sensing has a number of very useful applications in air warfare. These are primarily in reconnaissance and Bomb Damage Assessment (BDA), and use derivatives of the established commercial Laser Remote Sensing technology base. Technical principles, implementation and operational constraints are discussed, as well as the limitations of the method.

Introducing Satellite Remote Sensing Systems and its Application in Archaeology Case Study: Behshahr Plain- Mazandaran
Human groups have considered the Behshahr plain of Mazandaran in the past Due to its particular geographical shape, location between the Caspian Sea and mountains, and the existence of some rivers in the region. However, our knowledge of this area is limited to several published surveys and archaeological investigation of its ancient sites. No detailed research has conducted on the formation of...
متن کاملSpatio-temporal analysis of diurnal air temperature parameterization in Weather Stations over Iran
Diurnal air temperature modeling is a beneficial experimental and mathematical approach which can be used in many fields related to Geosciences. The modeling and spatio-temporal analysis of air Diurnal Temperature Cycle (DTC) was conducted using data obtained from 105 synoptic stations in Iran during the years 2013-2014 for the first time; the key variable for controlling the cosine term i...

High Power Microwave technology has matured to the point where practical ElectroMagnetic Pulse [1] weapons are becoming technically feasible, with applications in Electronic Combat, Offensive Counter-Air, Combat Air Support and in Strategic Air Attack. The current development of conventional ElectroMagnetic Pulse devices allows their use in non-nuclear confrontations. This paper proposes a doct...
متن کاملRemote sensing application in evaluation of soil characteristics in desert areas
Soil is one of the most important natural resources covering a large area of the land surface. Soil plays a vital role in biosphere processes, such as energy balance, hydrology, biochemistry, and biological productivity. It supports plants that supply foods, fibers, drugs, and some other human needs. Conversely, desert regions include about one third of earth lands and these regions have increa...
متن کاملUsing remote sensing data and GIS to evaluate air pollution and their relationship with land cover and land use in Baghdad City
The research used the satellite image (Landsat 7 ETM ) within the thermal infrared sixth band (TIR6) and geographic information system (GIS) to determine the air pollution and its relationship with the land cover (LC) and land use (LU) of Baghdad city. Concentration of total suspended particles (TSP), lead (Pb), carbon oxides (CO, CO2), and sulphur dioxide (SO2) were obtained from 22 ground mea...
